On October 7, 2023. Israel was attacked and the whole world witnessed “Here we go again”.
It was the first attack on Israeli territory since 1948. This attack by Hamas and the news of this attack shook not just Israel but the whole World. There was panic everywhere not just politically but financially too.
Stock markets reacted to this news around the world. Political leaders came forth speaking in favour of Israel and some for Palestine.
To understand this long-term and long-ignored issue, one will have to understand how it began in the first place. It began back in the early 19th century when the British Government during World War I announced its support for a “national home for the Jewish people” in Palestine.
And this idea of a national home for Jews on Palestinian land got intense after World War II by the powerful international community and that led to the birth of a child called Israel in 1948.
Now the problem is, that the powerful international players gave birth without marriage and now the two adults, the rich dad (the Jewish community) and the poor mum (the Palestinians) are fighting for the custody of this child.
One may ask what the solution for this issue is. In my opinion, the only solution is Co-existence. This child will be more happy and flourish fabulously if mum and dad accept each other.
So why hasn’t it been resolved yet? Well maybe rich dad is a bit arrogant and if we just rely on incompetent politicians this issue is not going to be resolved.
You see! There are other forces at play too. These politicians knowingly and sometimes unknowingly are being played in the hands of very people who make their living out of wars and conflicts. Peace doesn’t suit this big industry, they will go bankrupt and will lose their islands and superyachts.
I believe there is a solution and a bright future for this Beautiful Land, some call it the “Kingdom of Heaven” and some the “Kingdom of Conscience”, but I would say it can only be the “Kingdom of Love”.
But remember to solve this issue there must be mutual respect from both sides on equal terms. Otherwise, every few years the world will say “Here we go again”.
Something I wonder.
